realme is currently the world’s fastest growing smartphone brand. In order to further expand this success, the company today presented the realme 7 5G, an affordable 5G smartphone.
“5G for everyone”
realme wants to help ensure that 5G arrives at the masses and everyone can afford a 5G smartphone. The realme 5G cell phone is therefore particularly cheap with a sales price of well under 300 euros without a contract, but still offers considerable features for its low price.
The chipset of the new realme 7 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U. As is well known, the SoC has a 5G modem on board that supports the new cellular standard including DSDS. It transmits on the twelve most important 5G bands. Two Cortex-A76 cores with a clock rate of up to 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with up to 2 GHz work as the CPU. The MaliG57 GPU is responsible for the graphics output. Depending on the variant, there are also up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM.
6.5 inch display
The realme 7 5G’s display measures 6.5 inches and takes up 90.5 percent of the front of the device. The update rate is a high 120 Hz, which enables particularly smooth scrolling. Additional features include a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged with up to 30 watts via a Dart Charge charger. In this way, the battery is 50 percent full again after just 26 minutes. Also on board are a fingerprint sensor and a selfie cam with 16 megapixels. On the back there is a quad camera with up to 48 megapixels and a 119 degree ultra wide-angle lens.
The realme 7 5G is scheduled to go on sale on November 27, 2020. However, it can already be pre-ordered now. According to realme, the recommended retail price for Europe is 399 euros. But if you buy the realme 7 5G between November 27th and 30th, you can benefit from the Black Friday Real Deals.
